Western Lakes Station Maritime Reenactors |
The Western Lakes Station is a group of maritime reenactors based around the western Great Lakes. It members are principally drawn from around Lake Superior and the Western shore of Lake Michigan (Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois and Ontario). The group’s primary focus is on the Royal Navy in the War of 1812 and the North West Company’s Maritime operations on the Great Lakes.
The group is in its second decade of providing maritime history to the public. They continue to present high quality programs at historic sites and maritime festival around the Midwest and Canada.
Come to the Port Washington lakefront August 17-19, 2012 to see maritime history brought to life at the Port Washington Maritime Heritage Festival!
